Summary: Location, price and comfort. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although menu wasn't so spectacular and there were too many flies at the restaurant.

Summary: Nice hotel about 5 minutes walking away from a public beach. The athmosphere was very friendly, e.g. providing helpful information on trips and some concert on one day at the restaurant. The pool and bar are not very large but cozy. Even some people from more expansive nearby hotels liked to come there in the evenings. The food was good but prices for dinner changed without annoncement. The rooms are clean, sufficiently large, and nicely decorated. The beds are good as well. The close-by public beach is not one of the best of Mauritius but enough for some relaxing days. Bus trips to Port Louis and Grande Bay can easily be done by a nearbyby public bus. Overall, the hotel provides an excellent price-quality ratio.

Summary: The staff and room was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. It was only the hotel was very quiet. We had a car, so could go out.

Summary: lovely little hotel. staff is really friendly, housekeeping staff will not only keep your room clean but it will also brighten your day by leaving numerous local animals made out of towels and flowers on your bed etc. (really cool thing to do). we would really recommend la margarita hotel for its location (300m to the beach), friendly staff and delicious food at their restaurant downstairs. you can also hire a scooter thru the hotel for a very reasonable price if you wish to explore the island on two wheels.
